Cinnamon Rolls

First off, I would like to introduce you to my new friend, Jack.

Jack was the present my husband offered to get me a year ago that I just now cashed in on this past Black Friday. (I got a screaming deal!!!!)

Poor Jack sat in his box on my kitchen floor for weeks until Christmas Eve came and I finally got him out, wiped the Styrofoam off of him and put him to work making these...

 Cinnabon CopyCats!

Other than some minor issues rising (it took 3 hours, not 1), this recipe was pretty good. Very very dough-y. I still prefer my original recipe (I must share that one soon!) but this was a close second! The frosting was the best part!I will use this frosting for everything now! So yummy! And yes, it was just like Cinnabon!

My family has cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate every Christmas morning- usually on Christmas Eve too after smelling the cinnamon rolls bake all day!

Here is the link for the recipe:

Oh, how I wish I had a mixer like that! I actually made cinnamon rolls also this year, and mine didn't rise at all. I ended up just putting them in the oven as is.

Don't know what I would do without my Kitchen Aid! Got it for Christmas two years ago, and I use it so much! Just wait until you make cookies, so much easier :) Now off to make cinnamon rolls...

I LOVE my Kitchen Aid. My mom gave it to me a couple years ago and I use it all the time. Only problem is I need one of those splash guard things for mine. It is the "professional" size and I cannot find one anywhere!
