Somewhat Simple Meets Blue Cricket Design!!!
Welcome to another week of creative links! But first, before we get started, I need to share with you a super fun, super simple, super cute idea from my super amazing SIL Becca (also known as the creator over at Blue Cricket.)
Becca and I have a long history! We were great friends in high school who started dating brothers. Both of us waited for 2 years while each of our guys served missions for the LDS church and then we both got married only 13 days apart in the Los Angeles Temple. 2 best friends who get to go to all the same family parties?! It doesn't get much better than that!
She is now living in Utah and I am in Arizona, but that doesn't keep us from being best of friends! We talk at least weekly on the phone and share creative ideas, blogging tips, and horrific mommy stories- just to keep each other sane!
When Becks and I do get together, we pick up right where we left off and the fun is non-stop! Here is the idea Becks brought to the "creative table" in Sacramento.
Directions: Cut 2 pieces of felt and 1 piece of fabric to the same size. Cut any shape you like- we went with rectangles to keep it simple, but I was thinking some stars or circles would be darling too!)
Make a tiny slit into one piece of the felt for the clip to slid through.

Materials: All you need is some floss, needle, clippy barette, felt & scrap pieces of fabric.
Ok, and now to the link party- it is time to Strut Your Stuff!!!
(If you’re new here, every Thursday we get together to share our newest creations. It could be just about anything- A makeover, a project, artwork, a great recipe... I am not picky, just show me whatcha got!)
1. Link to your specific post, not the main page of your blog.
2. Include a short description of your creation and the name of your blog.
3. Grab our party button or link to this party from your post so everyone can get in on the fun.
4. Please no links to etsy shops or online stores.
5. If your link is deleted, don't stress, just re-read these rules and join in again!

I will visit every link from this online party and leave you a comment because I appreciate you joining me! Each weekend I will also choose a few of my favorite creations to highlight from the links submitted which will give you even more time in the spotlight. So lets get started, shall we?
Let’s see those projects!

So cute! Makes me wish my girls were still young enough for barrettes! Thanks for hosting.
way cute clips! I wondered if you were LDS~ now my feelings are confirmed! i am too, and my ma and pa were married in the L.A. Temple as well. How great for your BFF to be an official family member... way cool. I linked up too! ;)
Very cute. I make all of my little girls hair bows.
Best friends are the best and extra special when they are family.

Hey I didn't know you know Becca from Blue Cricket Designs! I read both blogs and never put two and two together.
I like the contrasting thread you used for the clippies, it really makes everything pop.
Also, I'm out for this weeks Challenge, I have a double ear infection and a cold. No exercise going on here and as far as meals, well we're just trying to make it through Mommy being sick. Hopefully, I will be well enough to join in next week. I do have some points from before getting sick.
These are adorable, can't wait to have a little girl so that I can make these types of fun things!
Thanks for your comment also, I can't wait to be featured! :) Love your blog!
Blessings,
Erin
Love this idea! My 16yo would love it. TFS!
How fun that your best friend turned out to be part of your family! The clippies are cute too.
Ahh! I see part of the Sacramento Temple grounds behind you!
I will be going there in a couple weeks. It's nice to know there is someone in my neck of the woods.
Thanks for the tutorial. Way cute clips.
