This is my friend Britni. She is pretty fantastic. She is the mom to one of my cute graduated preschool students and the daughter of one of my favorite people in the world. Britni and I served in Young Womens together for 3 years and we each had 2 babies during that time. Our kids became great friends and my family loves her family. (We are still sad over their recent move and we miss them terribly!)
Oh, Britni is also the wife of that guy Sione- some of you may know him from season 7 of The Biggest Loser. He’s kind of famous or whatever. To me, he’s just our good friend who gave us a great deal on our landscaping (which still looks awesome, by the way.) Sione is actually one of the funniest people I’ve ever come to know. He is a great dad and he loves his family.
Sione has been involved with quite a bit of charity work since he appeared on The Biggest Loser- he seems to keep busy and is always trying to make a difference. His current endeavor is pretty huge- a run in the ING Marathon in New York City this weekend!
He joined Team Chances Tempe and is giving back by fundraising for Chances for Children. Chances for Children-AZ is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle and well being for children, their parents, and all members of the community by providing fitness training, nutrition programs and educational services to those less fortunate.
