#2. Now lay out your T-shirt, measure from the bottom hem up and cut. (I cut mine at 11 inches.) ***Notice that the bottom of your skirt is already hemmed for you from the T-shirt—nice huh? (I told you this was going to be easy.)

this skirt is adorable!! I love the hand-stitched detail
this is SOOOOO CUTE – totally pinned it for future kid sewing gift giving idea! to bad it wouldn’t fit me!
LOVE this skirt! So simple and yet so cute! I’m curious what size shirt you used – I’m thinking that a small shirt would work for my 3 year old. Did you measure her waist or just make the shirt work to fit her with the elastic?
Angela,
I used a “Youth Medium” but a small would probaly work. (With T-shirt skirts I pretty much just use whatever the Dollar Store has and make it work.)
I could do this! My daughter would love it
So sweet, love it on the brown!
Tracey
This is soooooo adorable!!!!
Gorgeous Steph!! I’m in love!

Adorable, just adorable! I’m with Kati . . . I wonder if it would look as cute on a grownup as on a sweet little girl?
That is so cute! I love the colors of the letters on the brown.
