Army Party Camo Cupcakes

Last year I shared these Red, White and Blue Cupcakes that were a hit with my kids.

I used the same technique for Ethan’s cupcakes for his Army party.

He thought I was pretty much the coolest mom ever.

1. Make your chocolate cake mix and your white cake mix in separate bowls according to the package directions

2. Combine 1/3 of the chocolate mix and 1/3 of the white mix, then add several drops of green food coloring and mix well ’til you get the army green color you are looking for.

3. Spoon 1 heaping spoonful of each mixture into your cupcake liners.

4. Bake according to package directions

AND YOU’RE DONE!

Here are some with frosting and those plastic army men:

ENJOY!
