Amore Bunting and a Silhouette Promotion

Amore Bunting sketch art

I'm just going to go ahead and call this project a triple threat. It has card stock, it has vinyl, and it has sketch pen art! This Amore Bunting I created is so simple to make that I had it done in 10 minutes flat (even despite using 3 different specialty materials). The bunting pennant is of course, card stock. The letters to "Amore" are done in silver Silhouette Premium Vinyl in the font "Zamrud Khatulistiwa" from dafont. The caboose pennant is the sketch art of 2 swirl heart topiary … [Read more...]

Paper Treat Box And A Silhouette Promotion

Paper Treat Box

One of the many benefits to owning a Silhouette machine is being able to customize a paper treat box using any scrapbook paper you can find! Sure you can add a last name to a casserole dish or label your baking canisters, but I wanted to show you how you can use Silhouette's Etched Glass cream for home decor as well! This past weekend my cousin was sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. I decided I wanted to make her a wedding gift. I wanted it to be meaningful and a keepsake. This etched glass mirror is both elegant and a keepsake. The application is very simple, and frosting … [Read more...]

You Are “Berry” Special And A Silhouette Promotion

You Are "BERRY" Special- A 3D Paper Craft

These adorable 3D strawberries are sure to brighten any crummy day. While they don't appear to be edible, untie the 3D paper berry to reveal a special treat inside! My mom and I filled them with about 4 Hershey's Kisses (but you could fill with any small candy). On Sunday, she passed them out to her Relief Society sisters who have callings in other auxiliaries to serve as a reminder to them that even though they don't attend Relief Society, the presidency is thinking of them. We call this our "B … [Read more...]
