Today’s blog link party is sponsored by Silhouette.
Independence Day is only 2 weeks away, {Yipee!!!} and I thought it would be fun to make some cute shirts for my girls with my Silhouette.
If you haven’t ever worked with the Silhouette Rhinestones, you are missing out!
I love the BLING it added to these fun designs!
To apply the rhinestones, I used the tutorial on the instructions they sent with the kit,
but here is another one found on the Silhouette blog- no use retyping what has already been demonstrated, right?
Here are some of my simple design notes:
For the Lil Fire Cracker shirt, I used the wick and spark from a silhouette design download but I created my own stick.
For the Land of the Free shirt, I used the Statue of Liberty design from Silhouette, but it’s not a rhinestone template so the rhinestone part I free handed in the software.
So cute and so fun!!!
Did I mention how excited I am for the 4th of July?!?!?!
The Rhinestone Starter Kit includes 2 rhinestone template material sheets, 2 transfer sheets, 2 backer boards, 3 colors of 10ss rhinestones, rhinestone brush, Instructional DVD, idea book and download card so you can download the alphabet and 20 other designs.
