Blog Link Party with The Dating Divas

Today’s blog link party is sponsored by The Dating Divas.

I’m sure you’ve all heard of The Dating Divas, right? They are a group of married women who share a passion and common goal to keep the spark alive within their relationships through creative, romantic dates.

Somewhat Simple has teamed up with The Dating Divas to offer EACH ONE OF YOU a FABULOUS offer! Keep reading for the details, you will NOT want to miss this, I pinky promise!

Do you love your spouse but miss that excitement you had back when you were first dating? Are you feeling more like roommates instead of husband & wife? Wishing you could reconnect with your best friend? Are you ready to take things from good to GREAT (or should we say from luke-warm to HOT)?!

The Dating Divas have written TWO eBooks:

The A to Z Guide to a Happier Marriage (retails for $9.97) and The Ultimate Date Night Book (retails for $37).

Both books are jam-packed with advice and ideas to help strengthen your relationship and find ways to make it better.

In the A to Z Guidebook, you will find some of the BEST marriage tips and the secrets behind the success in their own marriages. They share touching, enlightening, and humorous stories to demonstrate each relationship tip.

The Ultimate Date Night Book {my very favorite} is amazing!!! It is full of some of the best date nights I have ever seen! I finished reading it about a month ago and I have already used several ideas.

After being married for 11 years, my husband and I have sort of gotten into a rut and don’t put a lot of thought into our dates. This book has changed the way we date each other!

Some of the date ideas are easy, stay-at-home ideas, and others are full-blown adventures. The best part is, The Divas have done all the work for you- they tell you what you need to prepare, where to go, and they even include all the cute little printables to go along with the dates, including fun invitations for your husband to spark his interest early in the day!

As I was reading this book, my creativity was sparked and I decided to get a head-start on my husband’s Christmas present- yep, I am totally getting bonus points for this one!

Do you remember my “12 Daytz of Christmas” idea I put together in 2008? Basically it was a gift I gave to my husband that planned out an entire year’s worth of dating. I figured it was about time to do it again, and this time it was going to be even better than the last!

Thanks to The Dating Divas and their Ultimate Date Night Book, very little planning on my part was needed other than printing the printables from the book that I wanted to use and embellishing the envelopes to make it look fantastic!

Here is a sneak peak to show you how I put these date ideas to good use:

Date Night Book 03

One date they suggested was “A Post-It Notes Date”. A super fun, clever, personal idea where you order take out and spend the night in your bedroom with some fun activities. All you need is a pad of Post-Its and a gift card for take out for dinner.

Another one of my favorite ideas was all about spending some time in a bookstore. With a printable of activities to do in the bookstore already to go, all I needed to include was a gift card for dinner. Done!

Come back tomorrow and I will show you the entire tutorial so you can make your own!
