We are His Hands- A Lesson on Service with Free Printable

cupcake handout 2

Last month I was asked to give a lesson on service for the ladies at church. There is a General Conference talk from April 2010 given by Dieter F. Uchtdorf that I absolutely love and it became the perfect outline for my lesson. The talk opens with the following: A story is told that during the bombing of a city in World War II, a large statue of Jesus Christ was severely damaged. When the townspeople found the statue among the rubble, they mourned because it had been a beloved symbol of their … [Read more...]

Etched Glass Mirror & A Silhouette Promotion

The shop has treats and small items from the dollar store, like notepads, … [Read more...]

Pray Often Blocks

Pray Often Blocks

Today I want to show you my wood and vinyl Pray Often blocks.   Neat, right?! This simple home decor is made from 3 different sized stacked wood blocks- 2 blocks of 4x6" (for the ends, P and Y), 2 blocks of 3.5x2" (for the middle top, R and A) and 1 block of  1.5x4" (for the middle bottom, Often). Paint them black, cut your vinyl in any font and color you desire, and apply to your wood. Because it is painted wood, you can take a piece of sandpaper and distress the edges. You … [Read more...]
