Christmas Table Centerpiece

Tis’ the season for hosting family dinners, holiday parties and social gatherings! And what better way to drape your home with warm colors, festive holly and bring cheer this holiday season than with a simple Christmas centerpiece?!

This project was inspired by Amy’s Thanksgiving centerpiece that she made and then re-decorated for Christmas. I love a piece of decor that is simple to create and even simpler to adapt year round.

While browsing Lowes last week, I stumbled across this Wallpaper Water Tray for $3 and knew it would be the perfect base… it just needed some color!

I gave this tray 2 coats of Tropical Oasis Blue spray paint from Valspar.

Then I took 5 small empty paint cans (they fit the tray PERFECTLY!) and I filled them with Christmas-y decor: silk flowers, purple garland, candy canes, pine cones and some greenery. I added some red holly garland around the entire tray as filler.

Lastly, I placed the tray on my paper doily table runner, and called it good!

Easy, yet festive!
