Crow Monogram Sign

My sweet friend Lisa made me this darling Crow Monogram sign-

{I love having awesome friends!}

It looks so cute on my front door!

Lisa said she got the idea in the October 2008 Country Living Magazine, but here is how to make it if you’d like to try your hand at it:

1. Paint your board white.

2. If you are talented like Lisa, you can free-hand your images on contact paper, but if you’re like me, you should print them out and trace them.

3. Cut out your image from the contact paper and stick it to the board.

4. Paint the whole board black (paint right over the contact paper).

5. Peel the contact paper off before the paint is dry.

6. Finish with some clear, non-yellowing sealer.

And you’re done!

Thanks again Lisa- you are awesome!
