DIY Tin Can Pumpkins

With Halloween just around the corner my son and I wanted to make an easy holiday craft. These tin can pumpkins were perfect.  We had all the materials on hand and it was simple enough that my three year old son could help out

All you need is a clean, empty tin can, orange and black paper, scissors and Glue Dots or tape. If you have small children you can substitute the black paper for a black crayon.

Start by cutting the orange paper to fit around the tin can, then tape into place using Glue Dots.

Next you will cut the face shapes out of the black paper and attach using Glue Dots.

Feel free to get creative with the faces.

If your children are too young to use scissors cover the tin can with the orange paper and let them decorate the face with a black crayon.
