Guest Room Welcome Bucket

The holiday season is fast approaching, and what better way to welcome your holiday guests than with a special guest room welcome bucket?

Here is how I made one for my sister in law and her cute family, using items I picked up at Lowes:

{metal bucket, chalkboard paint & painters tape}

I taped off and painted a chalkboard square to the front of the bucket.

welcome guests 4I wanted to fill this welcome bucket with some simple items that would come in handy and some fun stuff they love:

{snacks, DVDs, magazines, toiletries etc.}

I just arranged all the goodies in the bucket, wrote a welcome message in chalk, and placed this in our guestroom to greet them when they made their arrival!

Easy, yet thoughtful!

    What a cute idea! My kids always like making welcome signs for our guests, and I could see them really getting into this. Found it on the Skip to my Lou link party – Signing up for your newsletter now!
