This post brought to you by Walmart. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last month I signed up for a Zumba class. Me- Mrs. Two Left Feet, dancing. I bit the bullet and signed up because I need to lose these last 10lbs of pregnancy weight. I want to get in shape and tone my squishy self. And I signed up because my neighbor is the teacher and I like her.
Would you believe me if I said after the first class I was totally hooked? It felt so good, and it was actually really fun. I’ve never thought of exercising as fun before, but lo and behold I was laughing (mostly at my lack of coordination!) but whatever, I was having fun!
It got me thinking, I really want to establish a healthier way of living for my family. I need to be more consistent with healthier meals and more regular with my exercising, I want to get my kids and husband involved, and I want to do it while having fun.

Recently Walmart announced that they are giving more than $9.5 million in grants to national organizations that are helping families to have healthy, nutritional eating habits.
The funding will support nutrition education programs, provide classes focused on learning to cook and shop for healthier foods on a budget and provide live cooking demonstrations in communities nationwide.
Walmart has teamed up with Dr. Ro, (seen on Dr. Oz, & The View) and she plans to share steps the everyday family can take to eat healthy on a budget. (Learn more about Dr. Ro here: http://www.everythingro.com/bi…)
What community wouldn’t love to learn how to cook healthier on a budget?
One of the organizations receiving a grant is Action for Healthy Kids. Action for Healthy Kids is designed to help increase access to healthy food and improve nutrition. I’d love it if this program was in every school and if every student in the country learned more about nutrition and healthy living.

zumba is the best! I am addicted too. So much that I became a licensed instructor. Now I just need to get a class started.
