Lifes Good in the Kitchen #LGKitchen

Last night I made Lemon Chicken Primavera for my family- it is a recipe that I’ve been making since my first year of marriage that my family LOVES. When my oldest son inquired about how I came up with this recipe, we found ourselves engaged in a conversation about how little I knew about cooking when I was newly married- I could burn water and we ate out a lot! Fast forward 13 years later and here I am, a mother of 5 with no formal culinary training but with a love of cooking and just enough talent to keep us enjoying mealtime together. My husband credits my kitchen successes to the fact that I didn’t give up all those years ago when my cookbooks seemed to be cursed and dinnertime was more of a science experiment than anything enjoyable. (He is definitely right!)

Today I’m partnering with LG Home Appliances to talk about their theme “Life’s Good in the Kitchen” and to promote the TV show, “The Kitchen” with Katie Lee.
As a sponsor of this new show, LG provided all the appliances for the set; the refrigerator, the ovens, the microwave and the LG cooktop. I would LOVE this dream kitchen in my home! I think even recipes that I made 13 years ago would still be ok if I could enjoy the experience of cooking in a kitchen like that!!!

Do you want a chance to win LG’s newest Door-in-Door Refrigerator?
