I love this idea, too bad I would need about 100 clothespins
.
The answer is prob obvious to everyone but me… where do you get your vinyl letters? Cricut? Something else? Thx!
I can't tell you how many times in the past week I've seen a random sock and thought "I could really use one of those lost socks boards…"
Leslie (and everyone else)- I have my own desktop cutter for my vinyl, though a cricut would do the same for this job. If you want your own letters, check my etsy store- I just added some.
Steph, yours looks so cute. I love the vinyl and your socks are way cuter than mine. haha! The little guy helping is pretty cute too. Thanks for the shout out. Have a great day!
This is really quite brilliant. I think my favourite part is the paper covered pins though, no need to take them apart and paint just to put them back together. Thanks for the great tute!
I absolutely need to do this! Fantastic idea!
This is such a cute idea!! I have tons of mismatched socks!!
I love this! It serves as art for the laundry room as well as being useful. Thanks for the tutorial!
That is so cute! I too would need about 100 clothespins because I have a HUGE pile of lost socks!
Super cute steph and thanks for not having a word verification!
I love this idea!
I did something similar to hold my baby girl's headbands. I love how one idea can be molded into so many different things!
Fantastic!
My husband only wears white socks – so no board for me.
Soooooo cute! Seriously. What happens to those socks?
Glad you said it about needing way more clothespin- exactly what I was thinking! Still, this is going on my must-do list and yours turned out adorable! TFS
Great idea!
Totally great idea… our lost socks would take up the entire wall though.
We had a lost sock bin. It was filled to overflowing with no hope of ever finding the mates so… Halloween came and we made a Sock Monster. Safety-pinned socks all over my sons sweats, hat, gloves and out the door he went.
The cool part was EVERYONE knew exactly what he was and asked if he would bring back their lost socks! He loved it… and it had been his idea.
Oh, the imagination of a 6 year old!
this is such a clever alternative to a common annoyance. thanks for sharing!
I have probably close to 2 laundry baskets filled with mismatched socks. I always mean to do -something- with them, and just never do.
Cute idea!
Thanks for taking part in Talented Tuesday at My Frugal Family! Don't forget to come back next week!
How stinkin' cute is that! I'm like you though & would need about 10 of them. Would look adorable hanging in a laundry room.
So cute. This one little thing makes me want to re-do my entire laundry room. I better get started!
This is SO CUTE! I have this idea bookmarked because I am so making one of these, and then laughing every time I find a missing sock! he he. LOVE IT!

Genius!
lost sock are wonderful for cleaning plantation shutters.
This is so funny! I just printed "Lost Socks" in vinyl this week to make one of these. The version I saw was made with metal clips, but I really like the clothespins!
What a great idea this is! It's a great way to keep track of the socks that are waiting for their mates to come thru the laundry. I've never mastered getting both socks into the same load of wash….
Thanks for the tutorial!

Steph, can I use this project for my fiance? Ok, me too. Even without little socks, we still manage to lose them. Interactive laundry- Love it!

This is too cute! Love the idea! I agree that I would also need anout 100 clothespins. LOL.
I buy each of my boys white socks. Each gets a different style and brand. And I STILL have tons of lost socks!
Great idea!
We have our own vinyl cutter as well so the letters aren’t my issue….how did you get them to stick? The heat press is too hot and they don’t stick well.
