Make Money from Your Blog- Social Spark

One of the easiest ways to make money from your blog is by working with Social Spark.

What is Social Spark?

Social Spark is a marketing group that connects bloggers with companies who are trying to promote their brands.

If you have a blog (any kind of blog, not just a creative one) you can sign up for Social Spark. (It is FREE!)  If you have a business (big or small) and you would like to connect with other bloggers, sign up with Social Spark and start getting your company promoted TODAY!

How to Sign Up

The terms for getting your blog approved are simple:

“In order to be approved… a blog must be at least 90 days old with a minimum of 20 posts written within the 90 days prior to submission with no more than a 30 day gap in writing during that time. It should be comprised primarily of original content and be written in fluent English. We also look for a clean, easy to navigate layout. If a blog does not initially meet these Terms, they can usually be resubmitted once they have.” -Social Spark Team

How Social Spark Works

Once you are approved, Social Spark will notify you of any “leads” they think may be applicable to you and your blog. Each lead has different requirements and pays a different amount of money. You can choose to accept or decline the leads they send you- you are never required to participate in anything! I have had all kinds of opportunities offered to me, some that are applicable to my blog that my readers would enjoy, and some that are not applicable or ones that I simply don’t have time for.

I would highly recommend you joining Social Spark and see what kinds of opportunities come your way. You really have nothing to lose… except potential profit!

  1. I like your poste and I will follow the next few posts. Thank you.
I was wondering how much you would suggest charging for an ad. post and also how long you are expected to keep them up for that fee.

Thanks for this tip, Steph. I'll definitely check them out as I'm trying to make more money online. I'm an SEO writer for other people and am trying to start making money for my own projects.

Since you asked for any helpful tips, I do have an SEO series on my blog: http://prairiepatch.blogspot.com/ . I have the articles linked in the upper right corner.

I used to use Pay Per Post and really liked it. The Social Spark doesn't seem to do as much for me. I just I just haven't found the "niche" there for me yet. I think I would rather get into doing product reviews for companies rather than the ads.

  10. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of
any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest
twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
