Please meet my little guy…

I’m excited to announce the birth of my sweet little guy, Mason. He decided not to wait til his due date and came last Wednesday, July 13th. Due to the fact that he was 6 weeks early and his lungs are premature, he is in the NICU working hard and growing every day! He is not on any machines, just a constant flow of oxygen and we anticipate having him home with our family very soon.  Thanks for all your support and well wishes at this time- and thanks for being patient with me as I try to find a balance in my new role as a mom to 4. I am learning quickly that “normal” isn’t what I am used to, but I am also reminded every day how blessed I am. Being a mom is the best job in the world!

  12. Yay, Mason! And I’ll go ahead and tell you right now, the NICU reunions that you’re going to get to go to every summer from now on are SO fun! At our last NICU reunion, Syd got a “NICU graduate” nametag to wear, and there were carnival games, and free family photos, and a pizza party, and a sundae bar, and a bubble machine, and those kind of therapy dogs that love to have screechy little kids run up to them and bear hug them and screech into their ears. I swear to you, it simply makes my summer.
