I have been hesitant to post this idea because it is not my idea! I am pretty good at giving credit to the person or website that I find all my ideas, but I can’t remember which site I found this on because I made this so long ago!!! With that said, this is a fun project my SIL, my MIL and I made a couple years ago. Again, the boys were in front of the TV all weekend, so we decided to get a little crafty.
I bought these boards in the AS IS section at IKEA for less than a buck a piece. We attached sheet metal with some furniture/upholstery nails, embellished the metal with some vinyl lettering and scrapbook supplies, added ribbon or hardware to hang it on the wall and thats it!

Such a cute idea! I really like them. I love that when you get together with you SILS and MIL you always are making things. You are so fun! I want to be related to you and get to come over and make fun things!! Too bad we don't live closer to each other.
What kind of board did you use? I have a piece of sheet metal that would totally work for this project…
The boards were actually shelves I got for really cheap in the As-Is section at Ikea. I think they are just MDF, but I could be wrong.
