Since It’s Sunday Link Up!

Here is something new for this week that I’m excited to be a part of!

One of the young women I used to teach has started her own blog {somehow she grew up while I wasn’t looking or something} and she has a funĀ  idea for a link party that takes place on her blog each Sunday. She has asked that I help co-host this week, are you ready for this?

The name of this party is called “Since It’s Sunday” and it is designed to motivate and inspire!

The idea is simple: Link up your post dealing with an inspirational or spiritual topic. Those of all faiths are welcome to participate!

I encourage you to link up and browse and get inspired by those who are sharing their thoughts.

The link list will display below, but first, you have to hear from me!

I’ve spent a lot of time this week reading the General Conference talks from April of this year. I sit down and read them as soon as I get the kids off to school when my morning has calmed down a bit and before I even jump on the computer and start answering emails. What a great start of my day- honestly, I LOVE IT!

One talk I read this week that I LOOOVED had the following quote that just stuck out to me, perhaps because it was exactly what I needed to hear!

Without boring you with all the details of why I loved this quote, I’ll just say it gave me hope, and comfort and may have even made me a little excited about the unknown changes ahead.

To download a copy of the quote in PDF form, click here.

AND NOW FOR THE LINK PARTY!!!!

Link up your inspiration posts here.

And if you can visit and follow the creators of this idea, Courtney and Shaylee, even better!

Happy Sunday!!!

  1. Doh–my linky fingers got ahead of my eyes. I don’t suppose my stencil-ed entry wall is very spiritual. But I love the idea of this party…so thanks! Also, your new look is great, and I’m sure you’re so happy to have everything working the way you want!

Sorry my link goes to my blog instead of the quote I was trying to upload. I am just learning! Where are my kids when I need them to show me how to do this? Anyways, here is the quote!

Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess,
Just breathe, and have faith that everything will work out for the best.

  4. AHH! Just meant to link up the September VT message and not the Spooky banner. You can delete that if you have the ability!! So sorry and thank you for this fabulous idea!
