Strut Your Stuff Thursday with EssentialSwimwear

If you’re new here, every Thursday we get together to share our newest creations. It could be just about anything- A makeover, a project, artwork, a great recipe… I am not picky! Each weekend I will choose some of my favorite creations to highlight from the links submitted, so check back and see if the special spotlight is on you!

Whether you are ready or not, swimsuit season is right around the corner! (For those of us in AZ, its already here!) Its time to start thinking about what to wear to the pool, lake, beach, river etc.  and if you’ve decided to buy something new this year, I have a great suggestion!

EssentialSwimwear is a growing company created by a sweet, talented  girl named Britteny.  Just 2 years ago, after seeing the huge need for modest swimwear, Britteny started hand-sewing swimsuits for friends and family.  As word spread and her small business began to grow, she decided to have her line of swimsuits mass produced by professionals in an effort to keep up with the demand. (Isn’t that every small business’ dream?!)

I just got this swimsuit last month:

The Starry Night Gathered Halter Top with the Black Hipster Bottoms
(FYI, these are not pictures of me! lol)

If I were to be 100% honest about this new swimsuit of mine, I would have to say it is the best bathing suit I have ever owned!!! Not only is it totally cute (love the polka dots!), it feels so nice too! It’s slimming without feeling too snug and modest in all the right places! I love the neckline- just the right amount of coverage- I’m not covered to my collar bone, but my I don’t have to keep pulling up the top to avoid showing too much.

The bottoms were a hard choice for me, but I am so happy I went with the hipsters! I wanted a little extra coverage, without feeling frumpy and these are just perfect!

Here are a few more tops I liked a lot:

How cute is this Ebony Halter?

And the similar ruffle top is also available in some fun prints and colors:

I also like the retro feel of these:

There are several options for bottoms, including the following:

There are 16 different tops and bottoms sure to flatter every body type!
There are quite a few companies out there who are starting to sell modest swim attire, but the price tags on each piece is more than I usually spend on an entire swimsuit!($78 for a swim top, no bottoms- ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?)

This is another fantastic reason to shop EssentialSwimwear- you can get an entire swimsuit for around $50! A darling, modest top and matching bottoms- I love this company!

Every Tuesday EssentialSwimwear offers 20% off one item (featured on www.essentialswimwear.blogspot.com). You’ll have to check it out for even more savings!
And if all this isn’t good enough, today could become even luckier for you! EssentialSwimwear would like to give 1 Somewhat Simple Follower their very own swimsuit for FREE!!!
