SYS Blog Link Party with Jessica Downey Photo

Thanks for visiting our Thursday Blog Link Party!

Christmas is just a few short days away- are you ready for the big day?

I still have several presents to wrap, stocking stuffers to buy, guests to prepare for and I need to buy the food for Christmas dinner! Am I the only one who’s list seems to be getting longer?

Last week I FINALLY got my Christmas cards sent out!

designed and printed by

That is one task that always seems daunting- collecting addresses, addressing, stuffing and stamping envelopes, finding the perfect card design and taking a great family picture… it’s one thing we do every year that I enjoy and dread all at the same time!

At least the last part of that list was an easy task for my family this year, and by no credit of anyone but the fabulous Jessica Downey! Once again, I’m thrilled with how our family pictures turned out!

Jessica is definitely one of the nicest, most talented photographers I know and I am super lucky to call her my friend. She took the above pictures of my family last month in the most random of spaces along the side of the road. She has an eye for all things amazing, and her style is fabulous!

Jessica is the Photography Contributor on Somewhat Simple AND I’ve featured Jessica on my blog several times before { Here, Here and Here } but she recently changed her business name from Sierra Studios Photogrpahy to Jessica Downey Photo, which means her facebook page and blog address have also changed and you might be missing out on tips, giveaways and all kids of fabulous if you aren’t up to date and visiting the right sites! Before you do anything else today, jump over to the Jessica Downey Photo Facebook Page and become her newest fan. Her “fresh vintage” photography is sure to inspire and make you smile.
