If you’re new here, every Thursday we get together to share our newest creations. It could be just about anything- A makeover, a project, artwork, a great recipe… I am not picky!  Each weekend I will choose some of my favorite creations to highlight from the links submitted, so check back and see if the special spotlight is on you! 

Today we have a great prize from Purple Trail- a fun online print shop featuring the cutest customizable invitations and announcements!

Take a look at how easy it is to create your own cards:

1. Sign Up for an account- which is FREE! (You can choose between 4 different plans- Free, Basic, Pro and Premium)
2. Choose an occasion
3. Select a design (SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM!)
4. Customize it! Obviously you put your name and details, but you can also customize it by changing the fonts, the colors, the size, adding or deleting embellishments and pictures etc. It is so much fun!
5. Decide how you want to send it: Email it to friends and family, have Purple Trail print it for you or save it, download and print it yourself! 

Not only is the “customize everything” idea so appealing to me, but I also love that the eCards are AD FREE!!! That is such a great feature!

I have personally spent hours browsing their site and creating cards so consider this my warning to you- it is addicting! Your laundry will not get done, you still won’t know what to make for dinner, the spilled cereal on your kitchen floor from your 2 year old this morning will still be there until 2pm, you will begin looking for a reason to send someone a card and you will want to re-do the invitations to your sister’s shower you just made and were happy with last week. All of that will happen, I promise.

The Giveaway:
Purple Trail has offered to give one lucky reader a Purple Trail Basic Membership Plan.

How To Enter:
First, you must be a follower of somewhat simple- which I hope you are by now! Then, just leave me a comment telling me the next event you are planning and add a link to that category to show me you went to visit their site.

For ex, if the next party you have to plan is a sweet 16 bday party, state that in the comments section and leave a link to http://www.purpletrail.com/birthday/sweet-16-birthday

For additional entries:
1. Follow PurpleTrail on twitter (purpletrail, purple_trail)
2. Become a fan of Purple Trail on facebook
3. Leave a link to the card you made on PurpleTrail/ Tweet the card url.
*for this you will have to create a card and make it public on the system. Once it gets approved they would be able to leave the link to it.


Winner will be announced this weekend when I highlight my favorite links from this week’s link party.
