Last Christmas I did a "semi-homemade" Christmas. (Having 3 teen-aged boys made the it difficult to have a complete homemade Christmas. I wanted to make them all Snuggies, but 2 out of 3 rejected the idea.) My daughter and SIL actually had an IOU because my computer printer had issues and wouldn't print. A few months ago, my sister asked me to make her a Tiled Menu Board for her mother in law as a birthday present. These are way easy to make, but the problem I have run into with this project is finding the right tile- you want something shiny without a lot of grooves in it so that the dry erase marker wipes off easily.
