When I used to sit down with my pen and paper and try to come up with 7 meals for the week, I always seemed to have 3 or 4 meals that were so similar- burritos one night, tacos the next, enchiladas 2 days after that etc. Or I seemed to be using a lot of the same ingredients for all my meals- Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Fettuccine, Chicken Sandwiches... chicken, chicken, chicken!!! I am a big time Menu Planner, so 2 years ago my sister in law gave me a great present for Christmas that is probably the most used item in my kitchen (besides my microwave, lets be honest!)The picture above is what my menu board looks like as we speak- I like to plan for 2 weeks, so I put my meals in 2 columns.Any smooth tile works just like a dry erase board, only so much prettier!
