The Nursery and My Craft Room DISASTER!!!!!

Here is something you don’t see everyday- the UGLY, MESSY spots inside the house of a blogger!!!

Isn’t it true- usually blogs are full of beautiful pictures showcasing rooms with perfect decor, ironed linens, and homes so clean you can almost smell them???

Well let me show you a real-life picture of Mason’s nursery.

When he was born, I had big plans to make it darling! I bought some cute Pottery Barn crib bedding, I got some fun bins to go under his crib, I had Jacqueline Avery Photography take some adorable pictures of him and hung a sweet canvas on the wall. I had big plans, and in my mind it was fabulous.

And then life happened.

And one day I decided that since Mason’s nursery was rarely used and not entirely decorated, I would move all my craft stuff into the nursery and make a craft/nursery room that would still be super fabulous.

And then life continued to happen. And I was stuck in the middle of a room re-do. And I was stuck.

This is how my craft room has looked for about a year now.

How awful!!!

STUFF EVERYWHERE! In boxes, on the floor, crowding my desk… there is no room to be creative, and there is certainly no room for Mason in this mess!

The closet is actually a nice place for storage… but you’d never know it!

I’d love for this space to be cozy for the baby who has to sleep in this space, and functional for the mom who has to craft in this space. It needs color and it needs organization!

Seriously, this room needs a makeover and it needs Mandy, from Vintage Revivals! I’m entering this disaster of a space in her Epic Room Makeover and I need YOUR HELP so I can win!!!!
