The Parking Spot- My Personal Experience

This post brought to you by The Parking Spot. All opinions are 100% mine.

Even with family or friends nearby, it can be quite an inconvenience to get someone to take you to and from the airport when you are heading out of town.  Flight times have to coordinate with your driver’s schedule, gas and mileage and the time it takes to drive can be a burden, or perhaps you’re not able to safely fit your entire family, the luggage and the extra driver in one car. Times like this call for the need to drive your own car, park it near the airport, and leave it sitting there while you are away.

I was recently given the opportunity to check out The Parking Spot by the Phoenix Airport. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to find- right off the offramp, just a mile or so away from the airport terminal. I love their recognizable logo- bright yellow & black polka dots- you can’t miss it!

The parking area felt nice and secure. Friendly staff are ready to welcome you as you pull through the gates and a high fence surrounded the lot so not just anybody could get in. And because The Parking Spot requires airport parking reservations, there were plenty of spaces available for us to park our car. Which made it nice not to have to rush to the terminal after searching for a parking space for an hour in a crowded lot. (We’ve done that all too often!)

The shuttle service they offer is also fabulous. Nothing like getting driven to the terminal by a pro. I always feel intimidated while driving through airports- I think living in Southern California and driving to and from LAX scarred me for life!

Another bonus of The Parking Spot- the price! We have researched prices many times and found The Parking Spot to be very comparable to other lots that weren’t as nice or didn’t feel as safe. It was one of the nicest airport parking facilities we have tried and we will definitely use them again.

If you are planning a vacation and leaving your car near the airport is a must, I’d recommend trying the Parking Spot locations. It is a national chain with 34 facilities at over 22 airports!

  1. I was so surprised when I saw your photo. I had no idea they were a chain, but then, why not? That’s where I always park when I fly out of Dallas.
