Wacky Sack Homes

Wacky Sack Homes
Do you all remember THIS post?
I called them “Wacky Sacks” and they were basically just cute, fun balls of balloon-filled playdough.  (It was a great craft to do with kids!)
Since the day I made those, I have wanted to make a cute little “Home” for each of them using the playdough containers they came in but I just finally got around to doing it last week!
My original intention was to have my kids make their own… but after a week of being on vacation I found myself bored one night at my inlaws and pulled it all out and made them myself! (With the company of my sweet SIL, of course!)
Here is how I did it:
1. Remove the label from your playdough container. Try to pull it off in one piece as you will need it for a template to cut your scrapbook paper. (Some of my labels came off easily, others were a beast!)
2. Place your label on the backside of your scrapbook paper, then cut around it.
3. Using your hot glue gun, glue your scrapbook paper to your container.
4. Embellish the heck out of it!
5. Then, my SIL and I decided to name them. (This was fun, but late at night it proved to be a hard task for some tired mommies!) We labeled the homes with some pretty silly names.
I added some pom poms to the tops.
And thats it!
Look how cozy Pink Dizzle looks in her house! lol…
