This past summer I dove head-first into a complete re-design of my boy’s bedroom. It took me about a month from start to finish and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I didn’t have a single hiccup in the redesign, which is rare (especially for me!) and everything turned out just as planned or even better than I originally thought up.
And then one day a mere 2 weeks after I finished the room, my 4 year old had a friend over. And these 2 rowdy boys had a little too much fun that afternoon. Fun that must’ve included some stunts and jumping on his bed. Fun that resulted in the complete destruction of his bed. {As in, totally busted, splintered wood, mattress kissing the floor type of destruction.}
Needless to say I was not happy. This “new”room was now in need of a HUGE fix! This busted bed was part of a matching set, so replacing one meant replacing both.
Have you heard of wedo beds? wedo is the fastest growing online retailer in the UK with a large range of bedroom furniture. They offer a great selection of products at competitive prices.
With my 4 year old son’s mattress half on the floor, I needed a replacement, and I needed one quick! Since I had JUST designed their entire room around their white mission-style beds, I knew I wanted something similar, I just didn’t know how many options wedo beds had! Take a look at some of my favorites:
Any of these beds would look great in my son’s bedroom!
The infamous afternoon with 2 rowdy boys taught me a couple lessons:
1. 4 year olds need constant supervision (Who knew?! HA!)
2. A good-quality, SOLID bed is a must!
If you are in need of a good-quality, affordable bed, try wedo beds!
If you aren’t in need of a bed right now, bookmark their site or like their Facebook page, follow them on Twitter and join them on LinkedIn so you know where to go if disaster strikes in your home in the form of a couple 4 year olds!
I’ll be featuring the entire tour of my boy’s room soon, so stay tuned.

Did they ship to the states for you? Their site says they wouldn’t…
