Servings: 1 Bookmark
Cost: $1

Equipment

  • scissors
  • standard round hole punch

Ingredients

  • scrapbook paper I like to use designs that are printed on Cardstock so our bookmarks are extra sturdy
  • book or magazine pages
  • craft punches For this tutorial, I used a star shape. But the kids have used hearts, circles, squares... you name it!
  • glue stick
  • ribbon

Instructions

  • Cut your scrapbook paper and magazine pages to the size you want for your bookmark. Using your decorative punches, punch out a design in various spots on the cardstock bookmark.
  • Put glue all over the backside of your punched cardstock, then place it on top of your book page. Press firmly to secure. Put a generous amount of glue on another piece of cardstock and press to the backside of your bookmark.
  • Add a small hole with your hole punch to the top of your bookmark. Loop some ribbon to the top & you're done!
