Ingredients

  • sugar cookie dough storebought or homemade
  • eggs
  • food coloring
  • water

Instructions

  • Roll out your dough on a floured surface and cut your dough with your cookie cutters. Place your cut-out dough on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Mix 1 egg yolk with drops of food coloring until you get your desired color. Add 1/4 tsp of water to lighten the colors, if needed. Repeat for all the colors you need.
  • Dip your paintbrush into the egg mixture and paint your cookies as creatively as you'd like.
  • Once your cookie dough is painted and looking so pretty, pop them in the oven and bake according to the recipe directions. Cool completely and serve!
