  • Assemble The Snowman - Once the Rice Krispie treats have cooled (but not hardened) make 2 balls for each snowman's body. The larger ball should be about ⅓ cup and the smaller balls should be about ¼ cup.

  • Place the largest ball of the snowman body in a cupcake liner, then place the smaller ball on top. Stick a lollipop stick down the center of the 2 balls to hold them together.
  • Trim your sticks with scissors if they are too long. You may want to cut the lollipop sticks before you assemble them.
  • Decorate - Decorate your snowman with your favorite candies + treats, using white frosting to secure each piece.

Notes

Spray your hands with cooking spray to prevent the treats from sticking to your hands as you roll them into balls.
Form the snowmen while the rice krispy treats are still warm and malleable.  If they cool too much before you form your snowmen, the rice krispy mixture will harden and be difficult to work with.
Sucker sticks add a lot of stability to the snowmen, especially while they are still warm.
