Ingredients

  • 1 package Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix ingredients called for on cookie mix pouch.
  • 3 tablespoons colored sugar
  • 36 Hershey's® Kisses® Brand chocolates (any variety) unwrapped

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • In medium bowl, make dough as directed on pouch.

  • Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in colored sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Immediately press candy kisses in center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely, about 20 minutes.

Notes

*To make colored sugar, add 2 drops of food coloring to 3 tbsp of sugar and mix with a spoon until the color is evenly distributed. Add more sugar or food coloring to get the desired color.
