Chicken Taco Lettuce Wraps Recipe

These chicken taco lettuce wraps are bursting with flavor and super easy to make. They're delicious, nutritious, and perfect for a light dinner!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breast trimmed
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 head fresh lettuce I used butter lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • additional taco toppings as desired sour cream, tomatoes, olives, etc.

Instructions

  • Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of the slow cooker and sprinkle with the taco seasoning.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours, or on low for 4-6 hours.
  • Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred with two forks, then return to the slow cooker to remix with the juices.
  • To serve, spoon the chicken mixture into each leaf of lettuce and sprinkle with cheese. Top with additional toppings, as desired.
