Grilled Asparagus Recipe
Elevate your next summer BBQ with deliciously simple Grilled Asparagus. It's healthy, flavorful, and can be ready in 10 minutes or less!
Servings: 6 people
- 1/2 pound fresh asparagus washed and trimmed
- 1-2 teaspoons olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
For the garlic butter
- 3 tablespoons butter melted
- zest of one medium lemon
- juice of 1/2 medium lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Prepare the asparagus by drizzling with olive oil, and sprinkling with salt and pepper.
Place the asparagus on the grill. Cook 3-4 minutes, then rotate to ensure that it cooks evenly.
Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, then remove the asparagus from the grill.
To make the lemon garlic butter, whisk together the melted butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, and garlic powder.
Pour the butter over the cooked asparagus. Serve immediately.
