Easy Crepes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 3 eggs
  • dash of salt
  • oil
  • Toppings powdered sugar, sliced strawberries, whipped cream, Nutella, etc.

Instructions

  • Prepare the Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, water, eggs, and salt until smooth. Allow the batter to rest for 10 minutes to let the bubbles settle.

  • Heat the Pan: Pour a drizzle of oil into a paper towel, then rub the paper towel along the inside of an 8-inch nonstick skillet. Heat the skillet on medium heat for several minutes.

  • Cook the Crepes: Once the pan is hot, pour 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet, swirling the batter around to cover the surface thinly and evenly across the bottom. Cook until set, about 20 -30 seconds until the edges start to lift and the bottom turns a light golden color. Use a spatula to carefully flip the crepe and cook the other side for an additional 10-20 seconds. Remove from the pan and serve warm.
