Coconut Macaroons Recipe
These sweet coconut macaroons are the perfect combination of crisp and chewy, and so rich and delicious!
Servings: 12 macaroons
- 14 oz coconut shredded
- 14 0z condensed milk sweetened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 egg whites large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 325.
In a large bowl, mix together the coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla.
In a medium bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the egg whites and salt, until medium stiff peaks form. Fold the egg white mixture into the coconut mixture.
Drop the coconut mixture by rounded spoonfuls onto a parchment or silicone lined baking sheet. Bake 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
