Chicken Taco Lettuce Wraps Recipe
These chicken taco lettuce wraps are bursting with flavor and super easy to make. They're delicious, nutritious, and perfect for a light dinner!
Servings: 6 people
- 2 pounds chicken breast trimmed
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 head fresh lettuce I used butter lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- additional taco toppings as desired sour cream, tomatoes, olives, etc.
Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of the slow cooker and sprinkle with the taco seasoning.
Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours, or on low for 4-6 hours.
Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred with two forks, then return to the slow cooker to remix with the juices.
To serve, spoon the chicken mixture into each leaf of lettuce and sprinkle with cheese. Top with additional toppings, as desired.
