Cherry Almond Vanilla Cupcakes

Bursting with sweet cherries and vanilla, these Cherry Almond Vanilla Cupcakes are a heavenly treat, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Butter | Egg Whites | Flour Baking Powder | Buttermilk Cherry Juice | Sugar | Vanilla Almond Extract | Baking Soda Maraschino Cherries | Salt Congectioners' Sugar

Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Next combine buttermilk and cherry juice; and set aside.

Instructions

Beat butter on high for 30 seconds. Add sugar, vanilla, and almond extract, and beat until combined. Add egg whites, one at a time.

Alternately add flour mixture and buttermilk mixture, just until combined. Then stir in chopped cherries.

Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups and bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Then cool cupcakes for 10 minutes.

Beat butter and gradually add confectioners' sugar. Beat in maraschino cherry juice and almond extract. Frost, eat and enjoy!
