This dry erase activity book is a fun idea for kids of all ages and is a perfect companion for church or even a long car ride.

Dry Erase Activity Book + Free Printables
MATERIALS NEEDED:
- free printable coloring pages
photo album or binder with plastic sheet protectors - dry erase markers in a variety of colors
- tissue or napkin
NOTES:
We designed our own coloring sheets (download them below), but you could also buy a coloring book or activity book from the store, or do a quick search online for some I Spy pages, Tic Tac Toe, HangMan and other fun games.
DIRECTIONS:
- Print your activity pages from your computer.
- Put the pages inside a photo album.
- Let your kid go to town with a dry erase marker! Have them keep a tissue handy to erase each page after they finish.
If you’d like to use the same coloring pages that I used inside my book, here are the links to download them:
Just a friendly reminder, as with all of our printables on SomewhatSimple.com, these printables are for personal use only. They may not be mass-distributed, claimed to be your own, or sold in your shop. If you have any questions about this policy or need special permissions, please email us- we are super nice! 🙂
My kids started playing with this as soon as I put it together. Now I just need to make 3 more so they are all happy!
Happy summer! Have fun!
Wow great sets of printables to keep a kid busy.
Thanks for the nice comment! We appreciate you stopping by!
Thank you! I’m going to use some of these for our book! We are making a dry erase/ playdough mat book. I am putting them in sheet protectors in a binder. I figured they can use it as a playdough book or dry erase!

This is such a great idea! Much easier than those sewing quiet books. I think it's so easy I will have to make one for all my kids, and my kids friends, and their friends… haha
This is a great idea. Thank you for posting it. I would also like to share it with my readers (all four of them, LOL) in an upcoming sharing post.
This is AWESOME!! I love it! Thanks for sharing.
thanks for sharing. those photos are especially gorgeous. i'll be linking 🙂
I have done this also. If you have slightly older kids, there are websites you can go to where you can make word searches, scrambled letter puzzles, and crosswords too. I made these in a 3 ring binder for travel. I used the names of places and people we would be visiting in the puzzles. You can put in a three ring compatible pencil case to hold the dry erase markers.
Love this idea. Thanks for making it so easy with all the printables. I am linking you on my blog. http://www.inaquietafternoon.blogspot.com

I made some for my Primary class by using folders with prongs and sheet protectors. Then for the pictures, I had LDS picture bingo and name the prophet with prophets' pictures, scripture word scrambles, etc. It was their sacrament quiet book.

That's a great idea…. ! Thanks for sharing…
What a neat idea!
What a fabulous idea. This will be perfect to keep my girls occupied during church…it's tough with 3 under age 3 to keep them all still! My girls are going to love it!!! Thank you so much for sharing. You are so creative and talented.
Ok… you rock!! You just saved me a few hours/days/weeks of time trying to create my boys "quiet books" for sitting in church. I love, love, love all the felt, uber-creative ones that have been seen out there… and that's what I had planned to do with the next several ?days? of my life. However- – I don't have that much time to spend on them! So this one is so perfect- so smart. And thank you so much for adding the pages to be able to print. Amazing! Perfect Timing!!
Blessings- Sarah
That is awesome. My oldest loves to draw and I am getting a little tired of all the papers on the floor! When he was younger and went through his sticker phase. My MIL got a little photo album and he could stick and restick the stickers as much as he wanted.
Fabulous idea!!! My little guy is too young for this yet, but I am definitely remembering this for later. THanks!
Thanks for all the great printables! We made these last year for a long road trip, you can check them out at http://andreasideablog.blogspot.com/2009/06/activity-books.html
What a great idea! My little one isn't quite ready for this yet…I hope I remember to do this when she gets a little bit bigger!
AWESOME IDEA! I have seen fabric activity books that teach you to tie, etc, but they are a bit out of my reach. I love these!! I am so excited to make some!!! Thanks for the idea!
This is a fantastic idea! I'm going to use all your images (super easy), wrap it up and send one to each of my grandbabies! Thanks soooo much, you've just made me a rock star!!
WOW! What a great idea. Thank you for sharing these pages. My boys will love these!
Great idea! Would be perfect for car trips…
