My Kid’s Bathroom

My Kid's Bathroom hasn't been decorated since we moved here nearly 8 years ago and it was definitely in need of a change. Since our home was brand new when we bought it, I didn't need to tackle any HUGE projects, just some simple updates. But even though each piece of this puzzle was easy to transform, it has been sitting incomplete for over a year now! (I'm queen of starting a project and getting sidetracked!) But last month I was contacted by Better Homes and Gardens and they offered to … [Read more...]

Hassle-Free Bathroom DIY Tips

Here is how I did it: First, tape off your rug using painters tape. I started by adding a strip of tape to the center of the rug then working my way out so I can make sure the angle of the diagonal was what I wanted. 2. Mix your paint with some water. This will make sure your paint gets into the fibers of the rug easier, … [Read more...]

Make Bathroom Cleaning Easier With a Quick Clean Bucket

How about a Quick Clean Bucket for your bathrooms? What's the point of a 'Quick Clean Bucket'?   If I'm in the bathroom supervising baths in the evening, I can do a quick wipe down and clean of counters and toilets.  Or if I have a minute and notice that a counter needs to be wiped down, I don't have to go and grab my big cleaning bucket in my mud room, I just grab what I need from under the counter.  Really, it's just a relocation of supplies in a more functional way.  I also like … [Read more...]
