Hugs for Grandma & Grandpa

Tonight we made “Hugs” for my husband’s parents who live out of state!
Here’s How:
1. Measure the length of your kid’s arms on butcher paper (you could use the back side of wrapping paper too).
2. Trace each of their hands on the ends of their “arms.” (Or, even cuter, make a hand print with some ink- I just thought of that one!)
3. While you are cutting out the hands and arms, have your child write (or decorate) a heart-shaped note.
4. Tape the heart in the center of their arms.

4. Take a quick picture, then send the “Hug” and picture in a special package for grandma and grandpa. This would be cute to send to a daddy overseas or an uncle on a mission too!

…and that’s it! A special hug via the post man!
