- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tsp fresh minced garlic

- 1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 ½ teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 pounds flank steak or skirt steak , cut in 1/2-inch pieces
- 12 street taco size tortillas, flour or corn
- Toppings: , chopped cilantro, Mexican cheese blend, grated, diced red onion, chopped cabbage, fresh lime wedges, salsa, etc.
Instructions
- Pour vegetable oil, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic, chili powder, cumin and oregano into a large ziplock bag. Shake gently to combine.
- Place steak into the bag of marinade, seal tightly, and mix/knead to coat. Place in the refrigerator and let the steak marinate while you prepare the taco toppings. (The longer you can let it marinate, the better!)
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place steak pieces in the hot skillet in a single layer. (You might have to make multiple batches, depending on the size of your skillet.) Cook, stirring and flipping frequently, for several minutes, or until steak reaches your desired temperature.
- Remove from the pan and place onto a plate covered in foil to keep it warm while you cook the rest of the steak. Discard marinade.
- Meanwhile, warm your tortillas in the microwave or on the stove.
