Chick-Fil-A Copycat Frosted Lemonade

Is anyone else out there a Chick-fil-A frosted lemonade addict? It’s definitely one of my favorites, and I really like it, but my husband LOOOOVES it. We’re really making an effort right now to save money, though, since we have a big move coming up in a few months. That means, unfortunately, that eating out has become a rare treat, and our weekly visits to Chick-fil-A are a thing of the past.

It was high time to learn how to make some of our favorites at home, and I started with this delicious Chick-fil-a frosted lemonade! I’ve actually only had it once from the restaurant, but it was so delicious that I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since.

I love that it has just a few ingredients, and still turns out wonderful! I used fresh lemon juice from lemons grown on my sister-in-law’s tree, and it was fantastic in this recipe. I think it’s important to use a high quality lemon juice (and fresh lemons if at all possible) since the lemon is kind of the star of the show here. I also think it makes a difference to use a really good quality creamy ice cream. Tillamook is our favorite brand, but feel free to use whichever is your favorite!

  1. Mix the lemon juice, sugar, and water together, and chill completely (I put mine in the freezer for about 45 minutes to chill).
  2. For each serving, add 1 cup of the lemonade mixture and 4 scoops (about 1 1/2 cups) of ice cream to a blender or food processor. Process until smooth and serve immediately.
