How To Make Peppermint Popcorn
This peppermint popcorn recipe is simple to make and comes together in just a few minutes!
INGREDIENTS –
- 1 bag of microwave popcorn
- 1 bag white chocolate chips
- 1+ cup Marshmallows
- Crushed peppermints – you can use crushed candy canes or peppermint discs. The amount will vary, based on your taste preference. I usually use about 10 discs crushed into varying sizes.
INSTRUCTIONS –
Pop popcorn. Before opening the bag, shake out all the popcorn kernels through the slit on the top (or barely open it if it didn’t come apart while popping).
Spread out on wax or parchment paper, removing any missed or not completely popped kernels.
Toppings – Sprinkle marshmallows on top.
Melt – In a microwave-safe bowl, melt choc. chips for 30 sec in the microwave. Stir, and then microwave at 10 sec intervals till all the chips are barely melted.
Chocolate – Drizzle over popcorn + marshmallows.
Peppermint – Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top.
Set – Let it sit on the wax paper at room temperature until the chocolate hardens.
