Easy Pomegranate Smoothie
I’m still on a healthy eating kick, so I thought it would be fun to share a healthy and delicious smoothie recipe with all of you today. This blueberry pomegranate smoothie is so flavorful and delicious, and full of antioxidants! It has quickly become a family-favorite around here!
This smoothie is made with just a few simple healthy ingredients and takes only a minute or two to whip up. That means it’s absolutely perfect for a busy morning or a quick afternoon pick-me-up.
I have to say, I’ve never actually purchased pomegranate juice before but it is a new favorite! It added a ton of delicious flavor to this smoothie, and I love the gorgeous color!
This smoothie was an instant hit with everyone in my family, and my kids have requested it for their breakfast several times this week.
When Are Pomegranates In Season
You’ll find pomegranates in season between the months of September and February each year. Mark your calendars to stop by your grocery store during this time so you can add fresh pomegranate seeds to your blueberry pomegranate smoothie. Otherwise, you can get delicious pomegranate juice all year round.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Blueberries
- Pomegranate juice
- Flax seeds
- Yogurt
- Banana
How To Make A Pomegranate Smoothie
Compile – I love smoothies because they are super easy to make. To make this blueberry pomegranate smoothie, start by simply throw all of your ingredients in a blender.
Blend – Mix all of the ingredients together until you reach your desired consistency.
Too Thick? – If the smoothie is a little too thick for your liking, you can add a quarter cup of water to thin it out a little.
Extra Fresh – Also, if you want to add some fresh pomegranate seeds to the mix, go ahead and add those as well.
Tip – Sometimes getting fresh pomegranate seeds out can be a little tough but here’s a SUPER easy way to do it. Here’s an easy way How To Open A Pomegranate and it’s my favorite hack.
Serve – I’m all about the presentation, so when I serve these I like to drop in a brightly colored striped straw.

Ingredients
- 6 ounces frozen blueberries
- 4 ounces 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
- 1 tablespoon flax seeds
- 6 ounces yogurt
- 1 banana
Instructions
