This tropical banana smoothie recipe uses only three ingredients, and is ready in under five minutes. Made with fresh fruit, it’s super delicious and perfect for an easy breakfast or quick snack!
Breakfast smoothies are my favorite! Some of my other favorite fruit smoothie recipes are these Blueberry Pomegranate, Orange Creamsicle and Peach Smoothies.
An Easy Breakfast Smoothie
If there are two things my kids love, they are smoothies and bananas! No matter the day, time, or season, they are always excited about a good smoothie, and particularly one with bananas in it. This tropical banana smoothie is one of their favorites and always disappears quickly at our house. It’s creamy and smooth, incredibly flavorful, and so delicious!
I decided to bump up the banana flavor in the smoothie by using Sir Bananas banana milk, and it was a delicious addition! It’s made with low fat milk and real bananas, and has 7 grams of protein per serving. Every serving contains eight essential nutrients: protein, calcium, potassium, vitamin B12, vitamin A, vitamin D, riboflavin, and phosphorus.
It’s versatile and great for smoothies, cereal, pancakes and waffles, and just enjoying on its own. It tastes great and adds a nice creaminess and sweet banana flavor to this smoothie.
How Make A Banana Smoothie
This smoothie could not be easier to make and is a great way to use up ripe bananas before they go bad! You just add all of the ingredients to the blender, and blend until smooth. The frozen fruit creates a nice thick smoothie, with a consistency almost like soft-serve ice cream. The combination of banana, mango, and pineapple tastes just like a tropical vacation in a glass. Yum!
Fresh Ingredients – What I love most about this recipe is the use of fresh fruit. If you want to add in any other type of fruit, go for it!
Blend – Mix everything in your blender for a couple minutes until it’s nice and smooth.
Too Thick? – If it’s a little too thick for your liking, add a little more banana milk about a tablespoon at a time.
If you love bananas as much as we do, you will adore this tropical banana smoothie. It’s perfect for a quick and delicious breakfast, a sweet after-school snack, or a tempting bedtime treat! Leave us a comment below and let us know what you think!
