Caramel apple cider is a drink you can start enjoying in the fall and continue drinking through the cold winter months! This apple cider recipe is made in the crock pot, and it could not be any easier to make! I absolutely love how cooking in the slow cooker fills my whole house with an amazing aroma!
This holds true for apple cider too! Your family and friends will think you were slaving over something delicious all day, but in reality, you just tossed 5 ingredients into the slow-cooker and called it good! These ingredients are easy to keep on-hand- nothing needs to be refrigerated until opened, so you can be ready at a moment’s notice if you need a delicious drink for guests. I love recipes that don’t use any strange ingredients in them!
How To Make Apple Cider In A Slow Cooker
Blend – Add all of the ingredients to the crock pot and give it a good stir until everything has blended together. Next, drop the orange slices into slow cooker and cover.
Heat – Turn the crock pot on the low setting and let then apple cider simmer for about an hour an a half.
Garnish – Pour the caramel apple cider and then add a cinnamon stick or top with whipped cream and sprinkled cinnamon.

Caramel Apple Cider
Ingredients
- 64 oz 100% apple juice
- 8 oz caramel ice cream topping
- 3 whole cinnamon sticks
- 10 whole cloves
- 1 orange {sliced into circles}
Instructions
- Place everything except orange slices into your slow cooker and stir until well blended.
- Add orange slices.
- Turn slow cooker to low and let simmer for 1.5 hours, until nice and hot.
- Serve hot with cinnamon sticks OR you can serve it cold and garnish it with whipped cream and sprinkled cinnamon.
