Slow-Cooker Caramel-Apple Cider

Apple cider is a drink you can start enjoying in the fall and continue drinking through the cold winter months! This cinnamon apple cider recipe is a delicious twist on your everyday cider – it’s sweet and fragrant! (Don’t you just love how the slow-cooker fills your whole house with an amazing aroma?!) Your family and friends will think you were slaving over something delicious all day, but in reality you just tossed 5 ingredients into the slow-cooker and called it good!

Slow-Cooker Caramel Apple Cider

INGREDIENTS

  • 64 oz 100% apple juice
  • 8 oz caramel ice cream topping
  • 3 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 10 whole cloves
  • 1 orange {sliced into circles}

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place everything except orange slices into your slow cooker and stir until well blended.
  2. Add orange slices.
  3. Turn slow cooker to low and let simmer for 1.5 hours, until nice and hot.
  4. Serve hot with cinnamon sticks OR you can serve it cold and garnish it with whipped cream and sprinkled cinnamon.

These ingredients are easy to keep on-hand- nothing needs to be refrigerated until opened, so you can be ready at a moment’s notice if you need a delicious drink for guests. (I love recipes that don’t use any strange ingredients in them!)
