Easy Fudge Recipe
My Mom is a fabulous cook and an even better baker, and she would always make so many amazing treats around Christmas. I don’t know how she managed to get it all done with 5 kids at her feet, but mom’s holiday baking was always a monumental event! My mom got this easy fudge recipe from a lady who used to own a candy shop an it is literally the best fudge I’ve ever made. So simple to make, and so delicious that I could totally eat a whole pan by myself. (Seriously, I have issues waiting for it to cool before I dig in!)
How to Make Fudge
This easy fudge recipe starts by mixing chocolate chips and marshmallow cream in LARGE bowl. Then, in a large pan on the stove, combine some butter, sugar and milk. You’ll stir this occasionally until it boils, and then constantly for 7 minutes. Next, add some vanilla and then pour the butter over chocolate chip/marshmallow mixture. Beat this with large spoon until creamy. You can add nuts or crushed candy canes at this point, or just leave it creamy. Pour the fudge into a 9×13 pan that has been buttered on the bottom and the sides, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 6 hours. (If you can wait that long!) Cut into cubes, serve and enjoy!

What are you making this holiday season?
I can never get my fudge to turn out right. I’m definitely giving this one a shot to see if I can make it!! Looks good. š
Good luck!!!!!
My fudge was very soft, too soft. What did I do wrong?. I followed recipe.
Oh shoot! I am sorry Danielle – I hate when a recipe doesn’t turn out! Such a waste of time and money! š
I might be crazy, but I like doing old fashion fudge. Cook it up, cool it down and use real butter and flavoring. It is worth it to me and tradition that will probably expire when I do, as my son isn’t married yet. LOL
This recipe looks great! I actually tried something like this a while back, and this just brought back so many nostalgic memories, haha! I love cooking stuff like this. I really need to make this more often!
Looks delicious!! I can't make fudge because I would literally just eat it until I get sick!! Merry Christmas!
