These easy sugar cookies are a favorite in our home! A no-chill recipe made with simple ingredients that comes together quickly!
How to Make Easy Sugar Cookies
My sister in law made these easy sugar cookies at my house a couple years ago and I have been making them often ever since. They use simple ingredients that don’t require any patience while chilling in the refrigerator. And they are soft and fluffy and super delicious…. is there anything better than that?
The dough comes together in just a few minutes, and I love that it doesn’t require any weird ingredients. In fact, the only ingredient that I didn’t have on-hand at the time was Butter Flavoring. (Now I keep it stocked in my pantry JUST for this recipe!)
Butter flavoring can be found with the baking supplies at your grocery store. It comes in a bottle that looks similar to vanilla extract. Here is an Amazon affiliate link to show you which one we use: Vanilla Flavoring
You bake them in the oven for 7 minutes, and even if they look like they need to bake longer, DON’T! They’ll go from perfect to ruined in just a minute, so pull them out and let them cool/finish baking on the baking sheet. They should stay tall and fluffy!
